The service was well run and staff, including the registered manager, were approachable. People and relatives were encouraged to provide feedback on the service in various ways both formally and informally. Concerns were thoroughly investigated plans actioned to bring about improvement in the service. People’s personal and health care needs were met and care records provided staff with clear, detailed guidance in how to do this. People were able to take part in social events and spend time with their peers. A complaints system was in place and there was information so people knew who to speak with if they had concerns.

We offer a constantly evolving menu that caters to the tastes and dietary requirements of those we support.

People received their prescribed medicines appropriately and medicines were stored safely. People’s health, care and nutritional needs were effectively met. People were provided with a balanced diet and staff were aware of people’s dietary needs.

There are external and internal communal areas for people and their visitors to use. They treat residents with dignity and respect and are supportive to family members. It's an excellent environment that's very clean, nicely furnished and perfect in every way. This site offers providers of services, accommodation and related advice a free opportunity to advertise what you do. The site’s 4 million visitors a year comprise roughly 45% older people, 45% younger family and relatives, and 10% professionals who work with older people. Heathlands House care home, which opened in August 2021, offers a wide range of care for older people in luxurious surroundings, from residential and nursing care to dementia care and short-term respite.

Care records were detailed and provided staff with sufficient guidance to provide consistent care to each person. Changes to people’s care was kept under review to ensure the change was effective. We’re close to Newmarket, Ely, Granchester and Stansted and we’re handily placed for the A14. Really excellent care home with great and hard-working managers who are very accommodating and caring. Having qualified as a Chef back in 2000, he has many years of knowledge and experience behind him. During his career, Anthony has been able to share and learn different skills which now reflect in his high standard of work today. Alin has been part of the Hilton Park team since 2019, with many years of maintenance experience prior to this. Alin is a very hard working member of the team, with a good range of knowledge and is a great asset to our home. Jester joined the company in July 2011 and worked his way up the ladder to the Head of Housekeeping by January 2016. Jester manages the housekeeping and laundry team here and, although he's only young, he is extremely ambitious and has managed to build up a strong team who have tremendous pride in their work. Connie has been part of the Hilton Park team for many years, having worked as an Admin Assistant, Connie has many years of experience and knowledge to bring to her new role as the homes Administrator.

Ratings are provided by Care Quality Commission and reflects the most recent report for this care home, which was published on 17 November 2018. A committed team work hard to ensure that all provision is tailored to the individual, while allowing them to make the most of a relaxed and homely atmosphere. We found there were sufficient staff to meet people's needs, but the manager must ensure staff in the units had appropriate knowledge and skills. Hilton Park offers Mental Health, Older People (65+), Palliative Care, Physical Disabilities and Younger Adults care.
